January has come and gone, and so has another trip to Florida.
Our experience on Skybus was similar to our first one, except this time, we had a luggage casualty. The good news is that we made it to Great-Grandma's house in one piece, and we even got to check into the hotel a little earlier than posted time of 2p. The bad news is that Skybus appears to be having issues, and we are not going to travel with them unless Hades freezes over.
Aron and Alyssa got to do a lot of things this time. We kept them busy by bringing their backpacks, ("Backpack, backpack! Backpack, backpack!"), taking them to play on oversized breakfast foods and playgrounds, and lots of tupperware. Grandma Lillian was very entertained by the Trashing Twosome, and enjoyed her daily hugs and kisses from A2. Alas, Aron and Alyssa did not get to catch those lizards this time. Perhaps it was the "cooler" temperatures of 72 degrees that made the lizards run and hibernate the entire time we were in Florida, or just the rumbling of stomping feet that scared them. Either way, there is always next time... :-)
